There are a variety of Black church worship experiences for students to particpate in during their time here at Yale Divinity School. The Black Church Studies Program has taken the liberty to compile information on some of those churches spanning from Hartford, New Haven, and Bridgeport. While this is by no means an exhaustive list, we hope that you find a church that aligns with your values, piques your interest and welcomes you with open arms. We encourage you to do additional research on the churches of your choice prior to visiting and provide feedback on your experience with us after your first visit. If you have visited churches throughout the state that are not on this list, but have had a great experience, we want to hear about it and add it to our list!
